WORST EXPERIENCE AT TRINITY RESTAURANT - MACAPAGAL

MY WORST EXPERIENCE at Trinity Restaurant in Macapagal Ave, Pasay City

Me, my husband, my sisters and nephew had Visita Iglesia from Ayala Alabang - Manila, This is our tradition every holyweek as our way of thanking God for all the blessing we recieved. After our 14th station that ends in Baclaran Church, we decided to have dinner. Our original plan is to have dinner in Chowking, Baclaran because that's the nearest or McDonalds in Macapagal. But I suggested TRINITY Restaurant in Macapagal Avenue.

Me and my husband bought 1kg Sugpo and 1kg Pusit (3pcs-large) sa wet market. For sugpo the rate is PHP 350/kg and for Pusit PHP 280/kg. Then i hand it over sa waiter ng Trinity Restaurant para ipaluto. For sugpo, i instructed him na butter-chili prawns and for inihaw for squid, plus 1kg of fried chicken for my nephews.

When they served the food, it looks yummy. . . we all love it.

But, i've notice na parang lumiit ung sugpo and ung squid naging 2pcs na lang. I told my husband na "bakit dalawa lang yung squid?" He said--" hayaan mo na, bka iniwan na nila sa kitchen" i did'nt react kasi inisip ko na lang na holy thursday. But i asked the waiter "bakit parang lumiit yung sugpo?" He said "ganun talaga, naliit pag naluluto at hindi fresh yung nakuha nyo kaya lumiit at nadikit sa balat ng hipon". Then i said to him, yung binili ko kasi PHP 350 per kilo nasa medium size and fresh sya nung kinuha ko kasi ako mismo pumili nun. Then this waiter told me " HALIKA, PUNTAHAN NATIN" in a LOUD tone of voice, plus the fact na nasa kalagitnaan kami ng dinner namin... so pinagbigyan ko, i wash my hand, we went to the wet market.

I asked the tindera" ate di ba sa iyo ako bumili ng sugpo yung 350 per kilo?" she said opo mam, then itinuro nya sa waiter. Then this waiter went back to the restaurant and get the serving bowl of buttered - chili prawns. He said " GANUN PO TALAGA YUN, HINDI KASI MASYADO FRESH YUNG NABILI MO" i told him, "wag ka sumigaw at magalit, nagtatanong lang ako kasi nagtataka ako bkit lumiit ung sugpo na binili ko".

I went back to our table, i told my husband about what happened, he t
old me to look for a manager on duty.

I told the manager about what happened but he did'nt say anything, and instead went back to the office and process our bill.

I think you should check the behavior of your people in the restaurant. They do not know how to handle a customer.

ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER IN THIS RESTUARANT.

Boracay'08

I spend my holyweek at Boracay with friends. It's my first time to try land trip, gosh it's almost 20 hrs including traffic. We left Araneta (QC) 12NN and arrive in Caticlan 6:30AM. From Araneta to Batangas (5hrs by bus), Batangas to Calapan (2.5hrs by boat), Calapan to Roxas (4hrs by bus), Roxas to Caticlan (6hrs by boat). The fare is much cheaper but it's so tiring and boring. Thank God, I travelled with close friends, it's like a bonding time for us. We shared a lot of stories, we laugh, cry to each other, eat a lot of chips, nuts and smoke almost 3 packs of cigarettes. I finished 140 songs from my IPOD, 5 movies and 3 packs of double mint gum.

It's actually my 4th time to Boracay, but I am still excited and happy when we arrived at Caticlan Port. Transfers are effected with ground staff directing passengers to transportation toward the docks for the banca ride to Boracay Island. A charge of P50 as an environmental fee and P20 for banca ride is paid by each tourist. The process is smooth and friendly. Caticlan people in general is friendly and accommodating. The road parallel to the beach through which all tricycles and multicabs travel is paved from one end of the island until the other, easily about 10 kilometers almost 15 - 20 minutes

The original plan is to sleep first upon arrival, but it does'nt happen because my friends were excited to see and feel the white sand and sun of bora. So after we checked-in at Frendz Beach Resort (station 1), we had breakfast at our favorite Mang Inasal in D'Mall at Station 2. After breakfast, we had our henna tattoo and hairbraids. The boys decided to sleep and the girls went on sun bathing.

After we almost 3hrs under the sun, we all went back to our villa and rest until 6pm.

For our dinner, we had "paluto" at the D'Talipapa. We had Chilli Prawns and Adobo na pusit (squid). It's so yummy, then we had party all night. We slept around 3am.

The next day (good friday) and Jim's 21st bday, we woke up at 9am, we ate tuna sandwich and coffee for out breakfast. After our breakfast, we went to the Groto and walked from station 1 - 3. It's so tiring but we had fun. We saw famous celebs, models and a lot more.

We prepared a special dinner for Jimbo in our villa, a special chopsuey and grilled salmon, then ofcourse our fave drink, VELOCITY (mixture of GIN, Blue Gatorade, Soda). We finished 1 gallon of velocity. After our drinking seesion in our villa, we went to hey jude for the party (we don't have invitation so we stayed outside hey jude). We've met people from zamboanga whose on bora for their company outing (whoa... so lucky). We stayed at the beach front until 2am.
